Who creates the world? Is it us, or does it create itself?
The blackness of the fossil oak resonates with the dark events of recent years: wars, alarming climate change, pandemics, growing social inequality and the migration crisis. But to use it as an artistic gesture is not a form of villainy, but a decision to build a totem of bitter hope. There is power on the side of matter and the elements, humans are only part of the cycle, not as unique as they would like to think.
