2021 Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko, Chapel Gallery solo exhibition

Chapel Gallery, sending a message of memento mori, provokes to balance this message with manifestations, or at least symbols of life, of creative energy.

One of the symbols I propose in this exhibition is a drop. A drop falling into water results in a concentric movement of molecules, just as a seed falling into the ground gives rise to great trees.

There are no simple answers to difficult questions. We need space for uncertainty and time to reflect.

The chapel gallery provides such a space, while time – an important fourth dimension of this exhibition – is materialised in the sanctuary.
