The sculpture won a prize in the third edition of the Tadeusz Malinski NanoArt 10-9 competition. It was a tribute to Professor Tadeusz Malinski, a pioneer in the field of nanomedicine and a nominee for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry or Medicine.
